The neighbors on Rosinante Run, Columbia, Maryland gathered to beautify their street as their part of giving to Columbia’s 50th Anniversary. The idea was generated through CA’s gift of daffodils for planting throughout the community. Wilda Newman obtained 250 bulbs from CA. One hundred Dutch Master bulbs (which are larger and bloom longer) were planted around the cul-de-sac’s sycamore tree, and 150 more bulbs (February Gold, which are shorter and bloom earlier) were planted around the outside ring of the circle. Their work in the fall brought forth beautiful results in the spring, despite the heavy, late snow.
